A corner of paradise
La Taverna Il Guerrino is a traditional Tuscan restaurant located in Montefioralle, a small medieval village 1 km from Greve in Chianti, nestled in the magnificent hills of Florentine Chianti. Under new management since April 2024, we combine the wines of our production with Ruggiero‘s family cuisine, made of genuine and seasonal products. The Guerrino has a panoramic terrace overlooking the surrounding hills and vineyards, offering an unmatched landscape that will remain in your heart forever.
A menu for everyone
Our à la carte menu is made with fresh products that are carefully selected for their quality, respecting traditional Tuscan cuisine. We have a choice of dishes for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans. Children are welcome and they will have the possibility to choose dedicated dishes.

The dishes are made with passion and dedication by Ruggiero who has always had a great passion for cooking. The fresh pasta is handmade by us. We recommend tasting our Tuscan crostini, our pappa al pomodoro with burrata, fresh pappardelle with wild boar sauce, pici with Cinta Senese ragout, our peposo cooked in our Chianti Classico Riserva wine and our Florentine steak… and to finish on a sweet note our tiramisu with cantucci and Vinsanto or our cheesecake with Bronte pistachio cream.

Wine tasting
We organize wine tastings of our four wines: IGT Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet
Chianti Classico Docg, Chianti Classico Riserva Docg e il nostro Supertuscan IGT Merlot e Cabernet Sauvignon. Our wines will be served with a tomatoe bruschetta with our extravergin olive oil and some taralli. We recommend to book for the wine tasting. The price of this experience is €25,00 per person.
